Driving Directions
From Edinburgh/City Bypass
Take the A1 (towards Berwick upon Tweed) and take the 2nd exit to Haddington (not the 1st - that takes you into Haddington town). At the roundabout at the bottom of the sliproad take the East Linton road (A199)* for about 2 miles and turn left up the B1347 towards East Fortune. Follow that road for two miles and you will pass the entrance to the Museum of Flight on your right. Don't go into the museum. Instead, continue for another 400 yards until you see the entrance to the airfield and scrapyard on the left just before a mini-roundabout. We are beyond (but nothing to do with) the scrapyard.
Speed Limit - 10mph
The speed limit within the scrapyard and airfield entrance is 10mph due to farm animals and must be observed.
From the south/east
Follow the A1 until you come to an exit for Haddington and take that. Go right round the first roundabout, under the bridge and take the East Linton road (A199). Follow directions from * above.
