Flying In

The image to the right shows an aerial photograph of the airfield showing the circuits to be followed. For runway 07/25 (marked as 08/26 in the diagram below and photo to the right), follow the standard circuit but extend as per the red lines marked on the photograph.

Remarks

PPR by telephone. Primarily a microlight AD but light ACFT welcome. The usable portion of this wartime AD is clearly marked out in the NW corner. Do not use other parts of the AD which are the property of other landowners. The AD is the home of the Museum of Flight which is a short walk down the perimeter track.

Radio

"East Fortune Radio" 118.750. Not always manned.

Warnings

Caution: a public road crosses the wartime runway, close to runway 29 theshold. There is considerable military low flying in the vicinity.

Sunrise - sunset.

Circuits

Join overhead at 1500ft QFE. Circuit S at 500ft QFE. Please follow tight circuit procedure on the diagram.
